SGH Redglaze

Project Summary

SGH Redglaze found us online and sent in their project drawings. They were looking for a partner to supply and erect the pre-engineered metal building for their world headquarters in Omaha, NE.

This was a particularly unique project. The owner only needed Koehn Building Systems to supply and erect the steel frame for the rear portion of the building. They planned to handle the front structural steel, insulation, and all metal roof and wall panels themselves, as they manufacture custom metal panels. The building was erected before the slab was poured. After Koehn Building Systems completed the steel erection, SGH Redglaze followed behind us to install their own panels.

It was a phenomenal project to be part of. The work began in December, and we knew Nebraska weather could shift quickly. Despite the risk of severe winter conditions, the Koehn Building Systems team delivered exceptional performance—completing the full steel erection in roughly two weeks and finishing before harsh weather hit.

Our scope of work on this project included supplying and erecting the pre-engineered metal building’s steel framing only.

  • 31.67’ x 120.67’ x 21.64’ tall eave with a 1:12 single slope roof
